A Quiet Weekend at Home

Not every weekend is filled with flea markets or estate sales.

Sometimes the work happens quietly.

This weekend I spent hours washing vintage textiles, carefully inspecting every piece by hand. A few will need another chance, perhaps a gentle natural dye bath where time has left behind stains that simply won't lift. I don't mind.

Fish soup packed with omega 3 fats, calcium, collagen and a rick umami flavor.

I actually love this part.

It reminds me that beautiful things don't have to be perfect to deserve another chapter.

The afternoon turned into cooking a whole fish for dinner, and today every bit that remained became a pot of nourishing fish soup. Even the anchovies found their way into the pot. Tiny, humble fish packed with minerals and incredible flavor.

Nothing wasted.

It's funny how restoring old textiles and cooking from scratch feel so similar.

Both ask us to slow down.
To pay attention.
To see value where someone else may not.

Tomorrow I'll begin photographing new arrivals for the shop.

One of my favorite parts is showing different ways each piece can be styled. I hope when you see them, you won't just see clothing or home goods, you'll see possibilities. Pieces that can become part of your own story.

Thank you for following along while this little business grows one careful step at a time.

I'm so grateful you're here.

With gratitude,

P.S.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing styling ideas and a first look at several new arrivals before they officially make their way into the shop. Keep an eye on Instagram and Tiktok if you'd like to come behind the scenes.
